Concerned about your nutrition and hydration going into Ultra Trail Australia? Chances are it’s not your fitness which will let you down come UTA but your nutrition and hydration strategy.
Did you know that in 2016 the DNF rate was 6% in the 50km but jumped up to 21% for the 100km! If this statistic holds true this means that 1 in 5 people who front at the start line won’t make the finish line! Don’t become the statistic.
At the bottom of the page you will find the downloads (free – no questions asked) for two templates that I have created that will come in super useful as you put the final preparations in place for your Ultra Trail Australia 50km and 100km races.
These are the same templates that I use myself and with the runners that I personally coach.
It allows you to plan out your race so all going well you know what you need to take from each check point or aid station.
Should things not be going to plan it also gives you a starting point to work from.
Remember failing to plan is planning to fail.
