It’s the 1%’ers that count!
1% isn’t much and barely makes a difference, it’s quite easy to achieve. 10% on the other hand is a noticeable difference and may be difficult to achieve.
The trick is to make a 1% difference 10 or more times, continuously. Then you have not just a 10% improvement but continuous improvement.
An improvement that, if you tried to make it in just one area would seem impossible!
How does a coach and how can you get these results? Coaches certainly don’t make a 10% difference in one area instantaneously. We, and you need to make a 1% difference regularly, repetitively and across a range of areas.
Make a…
1% improvement in your consistency
1% improvement in your injury reduction
1% improvement in your aerobic threshold
1% improvement in your anaerobic threshold
1% improvement in your training
1% improvement in your strength
1% improvement in your pacing
1% improvement in your nutrition
1% improvement in your gear choices
1% improvement in your recovery techniques
This is far from an endless list. Where else can you improve by 1%?
And then repeat this again and again.
Enjoy the adventure.
Run, smile and have fun!
